Harambee Dance Group INC. was founded in 1995 at Texas State University. Their name "Harambee" is Swahili for Unity. They are a multicultural group of individuals with a desire and passion to dance and step. They are Texas State University's Official Hip Hop Dance Company. They perform at many greek step shows and non-traditional step shows, along with new student orientation, family weekend, and for many schools in the San Marcos and Austin area.
